Caden has loved Karate ever since he was little. When he was in preschool at age 3, they went on a fieldtrip to a Karate school. He has continued to talk about it for the last 4 years. So Bill and I agreed that we thought it might be time to have him try it out. So we took him to a local school for two lesson where he got a karate uniform and had a chance to earn his white belt and break a board. Needless to say, he absolutely LOVED it! His favorite part was where he broke the board. And now whenever we say "attention", he immediately stands at attention and says "yes ma'am, or yes sir". The teacher also taught him the 3 rules of karate which are: 1-Obey your parents, 2-Keep your room clean, 3-Don't fight. We were really impressed with it and we think that we will keep him going to Karate. Especially since now we use his board breaking to help him not be scared or say he can't do things.
We have really had a problem with him not wanting to go into rooms or downstairs by himself because he is afraid. Afraid of ghosts or anything else. So now we are telling him that because he broke a board, he can do anything. He has it inside of him to accomplish anything he wants to. So far, it has helped and is working pretty good.

That is awesome! Way to go Caden!
It sounds like he goes to Bobby Lawrence, am I right? Bryson goes there to. He recently joined their Masters Club and is learning weapons. Which one does he go to? We go to the AF school.
We tried the Bobby Lawrence in Orem, but we couldn't afford it after the two session intro. So, we are looking into other options because he loves it so much. That's awesome about Bryson! I bet he loves it.
