Over the past month, Caden's school has done a Storytelling Festival contest. Kids could try and learn a story or make up a story, and then they tell it to their class. If their teacher thinks that they are one of the top 2 kids in their grade, then they advanced on to tell their story to the judges. If they do good for the judges, then they advance on to perform in front of the school. If they do good in front of the school, then they can advance on to the district. If they pass the district, then they go on to state.
Caden wanted to do this and so we helped him find a story. We found a really good book called "Camp Rottentime". It has lots of fun things that he could act out and make fun noises with. He did a really good job and his teacher advanced him to the judging round. Today was the performance to the judges and around noon today, we got a phone call from the school. They told us that they loved Caden and his story. They are advancing him to performing in front of the school in an assembly. He was so excited and we could not be prouder of him and the good job that he is doing. They also told us that because he has made it this far that he will get a trophy. He was so excited to hear about that. :)
We will keep you all posted about how he does with the assembly and all. We really could not be more excited for him and the opportunity that he has to do this. Congratulations and wayt o go little man!

Awesome Caden!
Hello! Hello, I haven't been on here in forever cause our computer crashed and so I lost all my links and kind of forgot about you guys for awhile (my mind, let me tell you!) anyways my niece happened to see a picture of your family at Kid to Kid and I said Oh my goodness, was there a baby in picture, remembering you had announced a pregnancy when I was last on. I can't wait to go back and get caught up on everyone. Right now I have to go administer to Daisy she is a very sick little girl, been having repeated UTI, one after another. She goes to Primary's on Monday for a test to try and figure things out. Tell Caden Congratulations, that is awesome. More later, Lisa Wiggins
