Easter time at our house this year was a blast. :) I was feeling Spring Fever really bad and so Caden and I got the plastic easter eggs out of the basement and we decorated the house with them. Then, we were still feeling extremely festive, so we spread the love outside onto the tree in front of our house. The whole time we were doing this, Caden was wearing the
bunny ears that he had found in the bag of Easter decorations. Little did we know that these ears were going to follow us everywhere the whole weekend. LOL.As we were finishing up decorating, Von came to do her visit with
Brinley. She has truly been one of our favorite people. She is a home health care nurse that comes out to make sure Brinley is doing good. Unfortunately, she told us that it was her last visit when she came. We were so sad! She will truly be missed.

The Easter egg hunt was Saturday at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had lots of fun. Daddy even held the door shut so nobody else could get out so Caden could get more eggs first. LOL. :) Grandpa even dressed up for the occasion. (Notice the bunny ears again) After the hunt, we got to go inside and divy up the candy.
While we were dividing it out, Caden shoved a whole Cadbury egg in his mouth. We all started laughing so hard. I grabbed the camera and out of habit said, "Say cheese". Unfortunately for him, he tried to say cheese. He then choked on the egg, and had to spit it out. 15 seconds after having spit it out and clearing out his mouth, he said, "Cheese". I seriously thought that we were all going to pee our pants laughing so hard. Caden is truly something else. :)
We went to the mall Saturday night to get Caden a tie and we found out that they had two cars on display in the middle of the mall. One of them looked like Bumblebee from Transformers. Caden immediately went up and started talking to Bumblebee and petting him and telling him that he loved him. Then he told him that he could come home with us. Yeah, SURE! :) I told him that Bumblebee had to stay at the mall, but that we could take a picture with him. Sunday, we went to church and Caden got to go up and sing with the primary kids. He even got to wear his new suit so he could look like "Grandpa". After church, we got to go to Grandma and Grandpa's again this time to have Easter dinner and to celebrate Grandma's birthday. (Who knew you could get that old!) He he he. It was a lot of fun. Grandma got some good gifts and cards.

All in all, there was lots to celebrate and lots of fun. What a great weekend!

Lots of fun pictures! I haven't seen Easter eggs on the ceiling before. Did you just tape strings up there? Cute idea!
We stapled them up. Tied a knot at the end of the string to keep it from sliding out, and then stapled them up. The staples don't put huge holes in the ceiling and they stay up since tape doesn't hold up too well.
