She Stands!

Yes, you read that right! Brinley has been standing when we hold her hands for the last 3 days now. It is not my imagination, one of her therapists has seen it, her daddy has seen it, and her grandma and grandpa have seen it too. This is the BIGGEST accomplishment that we have seen yet. This is an absolute blessing. She just started to do it on Wednesday. She kinda stands there not knowing what to do, and it is not straight legged, but hey, we are not complaining at all! We will take whatever we can get. Good job little miss! :)

We have also been making a Gingerbread Train, and we got to go to Brinley's therapy Christmas Party last night. It was a lot of fun. The kids got to do crafts, they got treats, got to see Santa and sit on his lap. Brinley did NOT like that part at all. She lasted 2 seconds till she realized that mom wasn't holding her and she was sitting on some strange mans lap. Then she did everything she could to get away from him. I thought she might just get up and run away she wanted to get away so badly. LOL She wouldn't even look at him the rest of the night.

We are loving the holiday season and everything it brings. We hope your holidays are going good. :)
